Golf Courses
Carefully Curated, Beautifully Played
Spain’s southern coast is home to some of the most scenic and enjoyable golf courses in Europe and we’ve handpicked a lineup that combines championship layouts, breathtaking views, and a true taste of Andalusian golf. Across these carefully selected courses, you’ll experience everything from rolling parkland fairways to dramatic coastal holes.
Each round offers something different, whether it’s the challenge of the design, the quality of the greens, or simply the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
Please note: While we aim to play the courses listed below, the final selection may vary to ensure the best possible experience for our group.
Alhaurín Golf
Magical par-72 course situated in the beautiful mountains of Sierra de Mijas. Extreme drops and rises along the course wil provide lots of challenges but also lots of unforgettable panoramic views of the mountains and the sea. Just outside the main concentration of courses but people who have played here all love it and want to come back.
Golf Torrequebrada
One of the oldest courses on the Costa del Sol boasting a rich history including hosting the 1979 Spanish Open. Around the course a lot has happenend since then but the course still holds its ground in staying a quiet oasis and by offering a great challenge. Playing through a subtropical forest each hole demands a smart strategy. Beware of hole 8 where Ballesteros made an 8 once!
La Hacienda Links Golf Resort
Championship golf on "the best golf course in Spain" as awarded by World Golf Awards in 2023. This course offers phenomenal views of Gibraltar, The Mediterranean Sea and of the coastline of Africa. The links-style is unique in Spain and makes an truly remarkable seaside golfing experience. The course was redesigned by Kurtis Bowman, boldly claiming this is the Spanish Pebble Beach.
Chaparral Golf Club
Upon arrival you will notice this is a special place. When enjoying a coffee at the terrace overlooking the 18th green among others. The fairways wind through amazing Mediterranean pine forests that will give you a feeling of natural luxury. The quality of the course and the standard of maintenance will appeal to golfers of all levels. This course is impressive but also makes you feel at home.
Bonus: Mijas Golf
Mijas Golf is situated right next to La Zambra resort. It’s not included in our schedule but can be played during your free time.
Both 18 holes courses on offer were designed by Robert Trent Jonas Sr. This means the courses are designed to have fun but also provide some challenges as his design motto is hard par, easy bogey. Los Lagos with its 9 lakes is the course that offers something for all levels of golfers, whereas Los Olivos is way more technical, with its narrow and treelined fairways.
